2009 Mustang Classic / A Beautiful Day & Spectacular Event! |

Twenty six teams joined us on Monday, September 21, 2009 for the 7th Annual Mustang Classic. The Mustang Classic is designed to cultivate community for supporters of Maranatha Christian Academy while raising money for financial aid. We are Consolidating to the Brooklyn Park site by this fall! |

After much prayer and effort, we will build out the north campus this summer and begin the 2009-2010 academic year at the Brooklyn Park site. This move is the culmination of two years hard work on the part of our internal consolidation team and ATS&R architects and engineers. The move is also the realization of a strategic goal we’ve had for the last five or so years. |

Arise and Run for the Prize |
|
Held on Saturday, May 2: The sun was out, along with 88 5-mile runners and 108 2-mile race participants, for the 6th Annual Arise and Run for the Prize. More than 30 kids were also at the park to run, walk--or wonder--the Half-Mile Kids Fun Run. This fun, active-lifestyle promoting, athletic fundraiser is a community favorite springtime event. MCA Students Qualify at State Science Fair |

Maranatha had four students qualify for state science fair with their projects: Kelly Sobczak, Michael Pruszinske, Peter Bergk, and Adam Houle. MCA also had one student research paper qualify to compete at the Tristate (MN, ND, SD) North Central Regional Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (JSHS) with a PowerPoint of her research paper: Kelly Sobczak.
Three students competed at State at the Crowne Plaza in St. Paul on March 29-31 (Kelly, Michael and Adam), and one (Kelly) also competed in the JSHS, also held at the Crowne Plaza in St. Paul, March 28-29. The Maranatha State Science Team won the following awards: Adam Houle: US Air Force Award Kelly Sobczak: Second-Year State Competitor Medal Michael Pruszinske: Second-Year State Competitor Medal Adam Houle: First-Year State Competitor Medal  Congratulations to our State Science Team for an excellent showing in 2009! |
